The Ford F-250 Super Duty has once again proven its worth by winning the prestigious 2024 Vincentric Best Fleet Value in America Award. As a consistent favorite within the best-selling F-Series lineup, the F-250 continues to impress with its low ownership costs and superior performance.

Ford F-250 Leads in Value and Performance

In a repeat performance of last year’s success, the Ford F-250 has topped the full-size 3/4 ton pickup segment. Specifically, the XL, regular cab, two-wheel-drive model of the F-250 excelled in 19 out of 28 lifestyle cost scenarios. It not only offers the lowest insurance costs in its class but also outshined 167 competitor trims. This accolade underscores the model’s unrivaled economic benefits and robust capabilities.

Comprehensive Analysis Behind the Award

The Vincentric Best Fleet Value in America Awards are based on meticulous cost of ownership analyses, which cover more than 3,000 vehicle configurations typical of fleet use. The assessment includes a variety of cost factors such as depreciation, fees, taxes, financing, fuel, insurance, maintenance, opportunity costs, and repairs. The analysis spans all 50 states plus Washington D.C. across 28 different lifecycle scenarios. Such thorough evaluation ensures that the awards reflect real-world value and performance.

Other Ford Models Shine as Well

The Ford F-250 was not the only model in the spotlight; other Ford vehicles also garnered attention. The Ford F-150 Lightning Pro emerged victorious in the full-size half-ton pickup segment, while the Ford Maverick XL triumphed in the small truck category. These wins highlight Ford’s across-the-board excellence in providing value-driven, high-performance fleet vehicles.

Implications for the Fleet Industry

According to Vincentric President David Wurster, the Vincentric awards have been guiding fleet professionals for nearly two decades. These awards are not just accolades; they provide critical data-driven insights that help OEMs, fleet management companies, and operators make informed decisions and effectively manage their costs.
